About us


FMP Berlin Buch

DACS is a research project of the Computational Chemistry and Drug Design Group of the Leibniz Institut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) in Berlin.

The DACS Team:

  • Dr. Ronald Kühne, head of the group.
  • Dr. Bernd Rupp is an engineer for pharmaceutical chemistry and is responsible for the coordination of the DACS project and the database design.
  • Dr. Michael Lisurek is a diplom chemist and responsible for redaction work on the web site and housekeeping of new substance collections or vendor data.
  • Raed Al-Yamori is an engineer for technical informatics; he develops the Java- and Web-code.
  • Martyna Pawletta is a master student in bioinformatics and writes her master thesis on machine learning tools for the development of new descriptors to improve the library design quality.

The group of Prof. Dr. Gerhard Wolber is our cooperation partner in the field of virtual screening.
